ABOUT TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH:

Trinity Baptist Church in Texarkana is on mission to make as many disciples as possible. We are looking for a Worship Pastor who not only meets the biblical pastoral qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9 and who adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 but who also is excited about leading worship that reflects the church’s overall mission and vision.

Trinity Baptist Church is located right off of I-30 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Our 8,700 square foot Worship Center has room to seat 1,700 church members. We are also blessed with a school, a fellowship hall, a gym, a full-service kitchen, and baseball fields. Today, Trinity Baptist Church has an average of 370 people attend our weekly Worship Service, and that number continues to grow. Our school has 215 students and 35 faculty and staff members.

ABOUT THIS POSITION:

Do you thrive on worship focused on teaching biblically sound doctrine, building up volunteers, and making connections with people who attend your church?

As the Music Pastor, you will have the opportunity to build a music ministry around the people God has brought to the church. Additionally, you will lead and oversee all aspects of guest relations and our media team. Reporting to the Senior Pastor and relating to the Discipleship Pastor, your role will be to plan and lead all facets of biblical worship services, raise up future leaders serving on the worship and media teams, and direct our overall guest experience.

YOUR MAIN JOB TASKS WILL BE:

• WORSHIP LEADER
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Music Ministry, including but not limited to Worship Services, Student Ministry gatherings, Kids Ministry gatherings, Trinity Christian School chapel services, retreats, policies, and other events.
  • Develop, encourage, equip, and teach musicians, vocalists, and technicians within the church and school to participate and/or lead in various aspects of our music ministry.
• SHEPHERD
  • Oversee and organize all aspects of Guest Relations and build a team to ensure all guests of TBC are contacted during and after their initial visit.
  • Network with school staff, students, and parents to connect them to our church.
• MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY
  • Manage the Media Team and coordinate all technology aspects for worship services, including sound, lighting, visuals, and live streaming.
• STAFF MEMBER
  • Attend regular staff meetings and work well with the staff in order to advance the mission of the church.
  • Develop and administer the annual Music Ministry, Audio-Visual, and Guest Relations budgets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in vocal leadership
• Proven experience in growing and developing worship teams
• Knowledgeable with audio/visual equipment
• Must be a follower of Jesus, exhibiting a growing relationship and spiritual maturity
• A man called to ministry whose life is in line with the biblical mandates for pastors found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9
• An effective communicator who agrees with and teaches in accordance with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
• A self-motivated leader, capable of casting, imparting and following vision for ministry.
• (Preferred) University graduate (preferably with a complimentary major to enhance ministry; theological education preferred)

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:

The target base salary range for this position is competitive and part of a compensation package including vacation time, sick time, life insurance, and health insurance. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
