We’re looking for an experienced Web Developer to join the Web Marketing team. You will be part of a small team with a large amount of ownership and responsibility for setting best practices and raising the frontend bar for Dropbox’s marketing web presence.
In this role, you will be responsible for Dropbox’s marketing website, developing unforgettable user experiences through landing pages and microsites. You will also build out A/B tests to continuously optimize conversion rates. You’ll work closely with our content strategists, analysts, designers, product managers, software developers, and various internal and external stakeholders, owning a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution. You’ll also own full operational control over our CMS system and A/B testing platform, including monitoring, updates, integrations, process improvement, localization platforms, and so on.
Responsibilities
Implement and update new websites, landing pages, and features
Develop solutions for simple and complex problems, including everything from A/B testing CTA copy to localizing the website in multiple languages
Manage your own projects, where you’ll be responsible for strategically implementing your own solutions to simple and complex problems
Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders on a daily basis as the direct point of contact for the Dropbox marketing website. You’ll work with stakeholders across the company to create, update, and ship new web content and features daily.
Champion new web technologies and infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for scaling our marketing website infrastructure to meet internal and external demands.
Requirements
3-6 years of experience as a Web Developer within a Marketing organization
Solid understanding of front end web development fundamentals (Javascript, Typescript, React, HTML, CSS,)
Understanding of modern Javascript frameworks, CSS preprocessors, and build processes. We use React, SASS, Webpack, among others
Must have experience handling full-stack projects and can build a minimum working product quickly
Experience collaborating with Design teams to provide a best-in-class user experience
Experience working with marketing tech tools, such as Adobe Data Collection, Marketo, etc.
Experience implementing best practices around SEO and accessibility on a website
Previous experience working with content management systems - Adobe Experience Cloud and Webflow is a plus
Comfortable working with design prototyping tools, such as Sketch, InVision or Figma (we use Figma)
Comfortable managing complex projects with tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills with great documentation
Strong sense of ownership
Experience in managing external vendors and driving website related projects
