POSITION SUMMARY

The Content Manager is responsible for overseeing creation and quality of social media and video content from pre-production to final delivery. They are additionally responsible for managing the editing team by delegating projects, overseeing employment action, and providing feedback.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Oversees and executes all aspects of pre-production , including casting, scripting, location scouting, among other responsibilities
  • Oversees, manages and executes video production, including cinematography, lighting, and sound, editing
  • Oversees, manages and executes all components of video post-production for uploading both audio files (.wav) and video files (.mp4) for mastering and rendering.
  • Generates long and short form video content in accordance with social media strategy and project deadlines
  • Assigns projects to editing team and oversees team progress
  • Participates in editing team interview, performance reviews, one-on-one conversations, and disciplinary and termination action
  • Completes regular reports
  • Edits video and audio content according standards and expectations
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School or equivalent required
  • Bachelors or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Proficient with Adobe suite, CapCut, and Asana

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, writing, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
  • Perform work with OSHA required PPE; Including COVID19 PPE
