UX/Interaction Designer

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration : 6 - 12 months Contract

Pay Rate : $55 - $60/hr W2 (All Incl)

Job Description :-

• 5 years of experience (senior level): shipping products and features that solve complex problems (with a proven portfolio of work);
• Interaction design and visual design, exhibiting a proficiency in user experience concepts, typography, layout, and responsive design
• Demonstrable articulation of product strategy and vision and all the thinkings - design/strategic/system
• Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles
• Mastery of Figma (components, variants, prototyping, branching, etc.); Experience with other software is a plus
• Proficiency in prototyping; motion design skills are a bonus * Well-versed in accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), designing for broad audiences
• Experience working in scrum/agile and with developers
• Experience working with user experience researchers and various methods of research and designing experiments
• Top 3 skill sets: Strategy: translating business and user goals into product and user experience direction
• Execution: UX/UI/interaction design skills and operation of Figma (design systems, prototyping)
• Soft skills: ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with team and stakeholders
• Nice to have skills or certifications: Data analysis (product analytics e.g., GA, Quantum Metric)
• Motion design
• UX writing
