Rowe is proud to be a part of the Northwestern University Settlement House , a dynamic and innovative leader in creating transformational opportunities for children and families, in order to disrupt generational poverty. All programs nurture, educate, and inspire so that families can take personal responsibility for their futures and attain self-sufficiency and reach aspirations. Alongside a rigorous curriculum, our school focuses on the SEL component of education in great detail, as well.

We are seeking teachers who are able to provide a rigorous learning environment for our scholars, helping them develop as individuals, as well as master the subjects they need to succeed. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans and then implementing those plans in the classroom, giving you the flexibility to tailor your lessons to both you and your scholars' interests and strengths-based on data. You will also be responsible for building relationships with scholars ensuring that you maintain a positive classroom culture where all scholars can learn and thrive. This can extend outside the classroom by assisting with coaching sports, family and community events, organization events, school clubs, and extracurricular activities. More than anything else our teachers must develop their scholar’s unique talents and foster a passion for learning and growing.

If you are looking for a fast paced, collaborative, and mission driven teaching environment, Rowe could be for you!!!
