Production Manager Signage Industry
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager . If you have a proven track record in production management within the signage industry and are ready to take on a new challenge, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview: As a Production Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production operations, including managing a skilled fabrication/production crew, ensuring the timely completion of projects, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in illuminated, non-illuminated signs, cabinets, monuments, channel letters, digital messaging boards and vinyl sign fabrication, along with experience in install coordination and ERP software usage, will be essential to your success in this role.
Production Manager Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a fabrication crew, ensuring productivity and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Coordinate and schedule production tasks to meet project deadlines.
Oversee the fabrication of electrical, non-electrical, and vinyl signs, adhering to industry best practices and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the design team to review project specifications and ensure feasibility and efficiency in the production process.
Coordinate and schedule installations, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery and installation of signage.
Maintain inventory control and procurement of materials as needed.
Implement and maintain production efficiency metrics and quality control procedures.
Utilize ERP software, preferably Epicor, to track production progress, manage resources, and optimize workflows.
Provide regular reports on production performance to senior management.
Production Manager Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Manager in the signage industry, with a proven track record of success.
Experience managing a fabrication crew of at least 5 employees.
Proficiency in illuminated, non-illuminated signs, and vinyl sign fabrication techniques.
Strong coordination skills with experience in sign installation coordination.
Familiarity with ERP software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
