POSITION: SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: WEST PALM BEACH, FL

WORK TYPE: FULL-TIME, ONSITE

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented accountant who excels in both collaborative office environments and client consultations. As an accountant with our firm, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including tax return preparation and review for individuals and businesses, payroll and sales tax calculations, and financial statement preparation. Our clientele ranges from individuals to small and large businesses.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years in accounting and tax preparation
• CPA or Enrolled Agent status
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks
• Proficiency in LaCerte (or similar software), Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of your client list
• Review clients' books and records, both live and post-fact
• Oversee and provide feedback on bookkeepers' work, including training
• Prepare financial statements and consult with clients
• Prepare and review various tax returns (Federal & State): 1040, 1040NR, 1041, 1120/1120S, 1065, 990
• Conduct tax planning and projections
• Address and resolve IRS/State notices through communication and written responses
• Perform tax and accounting research as needed

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of public accounting and tax experience preferred
• Prior experience in a CPA firm is required
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Details:

• Full-time position with paid overtime during tax season
• Client will pay for relocation for the right candidate.
