We're an established Commercial General Contractor that has long been recognized by employees and publications as a great construction company to work for. We have some more laboratory and clean room projects coming up in the Los Angeles area, and we're looking to add an experienced Superintendent to our team to lead these projects through to a successful completion! Position Overview: The Commercial Construction Superintendent - Life Sciences is responsible for the successful completion of life sciences construction projects related to laboratories and clean rooms. This position requires strong expertise in the commercial construction industry, experience leading and supervising teams, and familiarity with the safety regulations and processes of life sciences construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on time and on budget
• Develop project plans, establish project timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
• Ensure that all construction and safety regulations, processes, and procedures are followed
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors, providing clear direction, ensuring quality of work, and managing timelines
• Monitor labor costs, material costs, and other project-related expenses
• Resolve any issues that arise during construction
• Create and maintain project reports and records
• Provide project updates to stakeholders and decision-makers

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry
• Solid understanding of life sciences construction, specifically related to labs and clean rooms
• Ability to create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and processes of life sciences construction
