Ideal candidate would be someone with over 15+ years of Consulting experience in Energy & Utility industry. The ideal candidate will have proven work experience as Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Regulators and Utilities in Renewables - Solar. This role requires experience in Project Management & Delivery, Market Research, Modeling, Commercial Due-diligence, Analytics, Contractual life cycle & management. A degree in Electrical Engineering or MBA with Energy specialization & relevant certifications will be a plus.
Qualifications:
- Optimize the portfolio performance of Solar plants including vendor management, regulatory approvals, contract negotiations, review and finalization.
- Develop electricity procurement strategy, carbon pricing strategy (renewable power obligations) and standardize contract terms
- Develop power sector transformation framework for regulators through zero power shortage and optimized O&M agreements.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies due to congestion in transmission for power sector through complex data models.
- Understand the regulatory landscape, key stakeholders and engage them for achieving the business objectives.
- Develop Project management office (PMO) for power plants - setting up PMO and building framework for review of PPA, EPC contracts for plants
- Enhance existing assets performance through continuous process optimization and take measures to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assessment of leveraging ML on G-suite data for wind and solar plant tracking
- Develop framework to effectively evaluate power purchase, open access and carbon credit contracts (MW-GW scale)
- Continuously engage and develop the annual ESG reports, ESG ratings and enterprise data optimization for sustainable growth.
