Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple manufacturing facilities within the fiberglass industry. This position requires a strategic leader capable of driving operational excellence, improving production efficiencies, and managing cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in fiberglass manufacturing processes, a strong background in operations management, and a proven ability to optimize performance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for multiple fiberglass manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
* Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow through lean manufacturing techniques.
* Team Development: Manage and mentor plant managers and operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and performance excellence.
* Budget & Performance Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor performance metrics, and implement cost-saving strategies while ensuring production targets are consistently met or exceeded.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all facilities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, while promoting a safe working environment.
* Supply Chain & Resource Management: Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are allocated efficiently across all facilities.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with leadership, providing regular reports on operations, performance improvements, and any challenges impacting production.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing sector, ideally in fiberglass or related industries.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple production sites or regions.
* Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, process improvement methodologies, and operational excellence.
* Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and optimizing costs.
* Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards.
* Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
