Job Description

This PRN position will be scheduled at our 6-bed Carolyn's House Hospice Residence. All PRN positions have an expectation to adhere to the guidelines set forth for such positions:

• PRN employees must attend each day of an agreed upon schedule for New Hire orientation.
• Commit to working a minimum of two full shifts per calendar month.
• One Holiday per calendar year.
• PRN employees must attend Annual Hospice In-service days and meet annual training requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Carolyn's House located in Harrisburg:

• Requires PA CNA Certification
• Personal physical care of patients as assigned by the Residence Manager, LPN or RN
• Observe the patient for changes in appearance or behavior and report to the Residence Manager or LPN
• Complete documentation requirements in an accurate and timely manner as per policy and procedure
• Assist with food preparation for residents and carry out necessary housekeeping/laundry to provide a quality, safe and sanitary environment for residents
