Job Description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team and help elevate our high-end sewing business. If you're a digital marketer with at least 1 year of experience and a passion for content creation, this role is for you!

In this dynamic position, you'll work closely with our Marketing Coordinator to craft marketing materials, create engaging content, and drive digital growth. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills in social media, video creation, ecommerce, and digital advertising for a creative business. 

Responsibilities:

• Integrate into Aurora Sewing Center’s team, and continually learn about product lines, classes and service offerings.
• Strategize, develop and schedule content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages to maintain a positive online presence
• Create high-quality videos and visuals for social media and website
• Create regular blog content
• Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and paid advertising
• Update website content to reflect new products, services, and promotions
• Monitor digital marketing performance and optimize strategies based on data
• Collaborate with the team to align content with business goals 

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in digital content creation, social media management, and web content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
• An interest in understanding and implementing SEO strategies 
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and project execution
• Team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude
• A Bachelor’s in marketing or related field 
• A creative mindset 
• An interest in sewing, quilting, or embroidery is a plus

Location: This role is primarily based at our East Aurora location (70%). You’ll need flexibility to work in our Williamsville location (25%), and occasionally travel to our Victor location (5%).
