Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our valued client in Newton Falls, OH!

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr. BOE

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct daily maintenance of both processing facilities
• Follow Maintenance procedures and ensuring safety is always followed
• Conducting inspections of the facilities to identify and repair issues
• Conduct inspections of the equipment to identify issues and resolve them
• Check electrical, furnace, and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Take part in repair and installation activities
• Notify Maintenance manager of all components and parts consumed
• Manage relationships with contractors and fellow employees
• Keep maintenance logs and reports up to date on daily maintenance activates
• Take part in coverage of fellow maintenance employees during times of vacation and other company obligations

Qualifications:

• 5-years'' experience maintenance or facilities maintenance
• Proven experience in maintenance and equipment repair
• Experience in maintenance and equipment repair
• Experience in conducting preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Electrical to 480v 3 phase
• Complete mechanical experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Dust collection and ducting a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy
• Use of a CMM system, preferred
• CAD or similar software proficiency
• Fabrication and welding experience
