Job Description

Our client is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for our 2nd shift operations, ready to tackle a diverse range of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks. Your role will be integral in installing, repairing, and maintaining our manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructures to ensure optimal operation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and combustion issues to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintaining proficiency in navigating and interpreting ladder logic in various PLC software, including SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix for troubleshooting purposes.
• Modifying and diagnosing issues in ABB robots across multiple models (M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700).
• Executing equipment installation, relocations, and alignment with precision.
• Utilizing machine shop equipment effectively and performing welding operations as needed.
• Keeping detailed records of machine repairs and maintenance, ensuring workspace cleanliness, and adhering to preventive maintenance protocols.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in PLC ladder logic interpretation, specifically in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix.
• Experience in modifying and troubleshooting ABB robot models listed.
• Strong background in gas and electric welding operations.
• At least 4 years of applicable experience in roles involving Allen Bradley, hydraulics, robotics, and welding.
• Competence in troubleshooting die casting machine cells through PLC use and understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics is a must.

Educational Background:

• Technical or vocational training is required, with relevant certificates or college courses preferred.
