We are currently seeking a Mainframe AS-400 QA Tester - Remote to join our team in Frisco, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Responsibilities:

• Works in parallel with the business SMEs create thorough, accurate, and comprehensive SQL test queries and scripts
• Develop SQL (AS400 scripts) and RPG Query for test data generation or test harness automation for iterative test cycles
• Update and maintain AS400 data base scripts and test cases as applications and business rules change and identify areas of improvement
• Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans
• Identify potential quality issues and report issues in a timely manner
• work with Warehouse team (High Jump)
• Monitor validation reports for issues and errors
• As a self-starter, proactively research and understand the latest-and-greatest technology in the database related area
• Develop and implement automation scripts to increase system efficiency and decrease the human intervention on any repeated tasks
• Provide. support and know hows to technology, support departments within the company to external clients,

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Mainframe QA Functional Testing experience
• Mainframe-AS400-RPG/400
• Strong SQL
