Role Summary

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the hotel property, assets, guests, visitors, and associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol the property : Ensure the safety of guests, employees, and hotel assets by regularly monitoring the premises.
• Respond to house calls : Assist guests and employees with safety, security, and operational needs.
• Conduct investigations : Initiate and follow up on investigations related to crimes committed against the hotel and individuals.
• Assist in emergencies : Provide support to sick or injured guests or employees, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
• Write reports : Prepare incident/accident reports and monitor investigations to completion, ensuring all necessary follow-up.
• Record-keeping : Maintain accurate logs and records related to camera monitoring, shift activities, and interactions with employees and guests.
• Monitor safety systems : Assist with checking alarm systems, fire safety equipment, and building security measures.
