Lab Stakeholder Generalist


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary responsibilities of this role, Lab Stakeholder Generalist, are to:


  • Create and communicate testing plans to ensure targets set by planning and business teams are met.
  • Provide feedback to planning, manufacturing, field production, product management, and quality assurance, regarding disruptions in testing timelines, data issues, and continuous improvements affecting testing capacity.
  • Work closely with the lab teams to plan and execute special study protocols balancing capacity with seasonal testing campaigns.
  • The Lab Stakeholder Generalist is a member of the End 2 End mission team and should maintain a strong relationship with the team and other lab support personnel to support operations at the lab and resolve testing challenges.
  • Initiate periodic communication with Planning, Manufacturing, Field Production, Product Quality, & Product Management teams to ensure alignment across all stakeholder groups.
  • Support the development and sharing of all relevant Key Performance Indicators and other relevant information on visual boards and networks to drive teamwork and ensure the highest level of product quality to enhance Customer Experience.
  • Champion a Production System culture that empowers team members to improve quality, increase efficiency, and reduce cost.
  • Provide systems applications training and support to quality testing team
  • Provide training, feedback, and support for sample submission, sample tracking tools, and communication tools for lab operations to stakeholders
  • Partners cross functionally with business teams to improve processes and provide transparency.
  • Monitor the overall performance and delivery of the lab data, ensure test completion, to communicate updates to stakeholders on lab status and data delivery
  • Prioritize and manage projects in alignment with business needs and partner priorities to ensure objectives & deliverables are achieved in a timely manner and in accordance with our key performance indicators.Champion a Production System culture that empowers team members to improve quality, increase efficiency, and reduce cost.

WHO YOU ARE


Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:


Required Qualifications:


  • High School and many years of relevant experience in a laboratory or quality testing environment.
  • Ability to critically think about the business Preferred: Leadership experience in quality, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Experience in managing stakeholder teams Skilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross- functional teams
  • Demonstration of courage, candor, and initiative in past assignments

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a preferred discipline: Biology, Chemistry, Pathology, Engineering, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2 -7+ years of experience in a laboratory or quality testing environment.
