Junior Project Manager - US

Job Summary:

The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of clients’ requests, focusing on excellence and customer-centricity.

Based in USA, he/she will be part of our US team and Global Operations Team, interacting with other delivery centres as needed to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

The Junior Project Manager will report to the Life Science Business Unit Director.

Responsibilities:

§ Be responsible for managing multilingual localization projects through their full life cycle, ensuring successful project completion, timely delivery within budget and to the required quality standards.

§ Manage all aspects of localization project life cycle to ensure smooth workflow: receive client quote request, coordinate with translators, editors, and other localization staff, prepare localization kit for linguists, project scheduling and resource allocation.

§ Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to understand their localization needs and provide regular project updates.

§ Utilize localization tools and software to manage projects efficiently, perform word count analysis using CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ and prepare quotations with the coordination of ECI global sales support team.

§ Help to resolve any issues that may arise during the localization process.

§ Contribute to the continuous improvement of our localization processes and systems.

§ Provide support to the senior project management team as needed.

§ Prepare reports and coordinate tasks with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Sales and Project Managers located in other locations/time zones. Role will involve close collaboration with Business Development Directors in the region.

Requirements:

§ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Clinical Medicine and other life science related majors will be of high priority. Or bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, Project Management, or a related field

§ Proficient with localization tools and software

§ Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PPT)

Others:

§ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§ Excellent presentation/communication, with the ability to clearly present the localization life cycle to clients.

§ Knowledge/familiarity with financial and/or regulated clients’ expectations (communication style, focus on quality, responsiveness, etc.)

§ Positive mindset and can-do attitude with excellent interpersonal skills

§ Strong customer service skills: pro-active attitude, client-first approach and strong responsiveness

§ Proven abilities in project planning, resource, and risk management

§ Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task, meet tight deadlines; effective time management

§ Agility to function effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment

§ Problem-solving capabilities, and proactive and flexible

§ Knowledge of technologies and interest in continuously learning new ones

§ Feel comfortable working with US Time zone .

Experience required:

§ 1-2 year(s) of experience in localization, acquired in a project management or project assistance role.

Required language level:

§ Bilingual Mandarin and English
