Job Description

As the Import/Export Coordinator you will ensure the seamless and compliant movement of goods through the customs and regulatory processes. Effectively managing the clearance process, an Import/Export Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating the timely and compliant processes of international shipments in and out of the United States.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the point of contact for overseas offices and agents on shipments importing into the US.
  • Monitor all imports to ensure they are stored correctly and in accordance with the temperature requirements of the product.
  • Interact with the airline handling agents, or Biocair local offices, to arrange repack / intervention when necessary to maintain temperature validation.
  • Work with the Operations and Transport teams to guarantee delivery of all imports that take place within customer expected timescales.
  • Provide customers with regular, accurate and timely updates on shipment status, ensuring correct and timely completion of all after shipment tasks.
  • Secure bookings with airlines, integrators and/or transport suppliers in accordance with the information shown in the Transport Management System (iCair).
  • Cross-check and review of Dangerous Goods declaration.

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00am to 15:30pm and the role based out of our office in San Francisco office, CA 94066.
