Functional Tester Description

We are seeking a talented Functional Tester to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.

By working within our customer scrum teams, the successful candidate will design, develop, and implement effective functional and regression tests to cover critical components of the application, particularly those that have been recently updated or adjusted.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and regression testing strategies for web applications
• Collaborate with scrum teams to build test coverage for application critical parts
• Assess risks and prioritize test cases to optimize testing efforts
• Analyze software logs to pinpoint root causes of defects
• Maintain and improve test automation frameworks using various tools
• Contribute to the enhancement of testing procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Provide clear and concise feedback to development teams
• Participate in the continual refinement of QA best practices
• Monitor and report test results to stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Regression Testing
• Advanced skills in manual testing of web applications
• Background in requirements analysis and test design techniques
• Proficiency in Web Service/API testing using tools like SOAP UI and Postman
• Deep understanding of the software development life cycle and CI/CD processes
• Strong analytical skills and capability to identify the root causes of defects
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Intermediate level of English

Nice to have

• Knowledge and understanding of Automation Testing
• Experience in developing and executing test cases
