Our Nashville learning site is searching for a dedicated Nursing Faculty member (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, depending on experience) to join our School of Nursing. This full-time, campus-based position primarily involves teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, with potential cross-teaching opportunities in prelicensure nursing programs based on educational level. Full-time faculty are expected to maintain a presence on campus for 32 hours per week and may work remotely for 8 hours per week.

We are seeking qualified educators with expertise in pediatrics, medical-surgical nursing, and human anatomy. Candidates with teaching experience or extensive clinical experience in these areas will be given priority.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain professional standards in classroom and clinical teaching.
Create and submit course syllabi, manage classrooms, utilize technology, submit grades, and maintain records in accordance with our standards.
Participate actively as a faculty member in meetings, projects, recruiting, and committee work.
Develop and implement engaging teaching and evaluation strategies.
Support student success through mentoring, tutoring, and advising.
Stay current in nursing education and practice through continuing education.
Contribute to evaluation processes to measure outcomes for the School of Nursing.
Requirements:

Minimum of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (preferred).
At least two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse.
Formal education in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation (preferred).
Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in TN or in one of the compact states.
Teaching experience (preferred).
