Job Summary:
EHC Construction is a leading construction and employee-owned company committed to excellence in all aspects of our operations. We are currently seeking a skilled Finish Dozer and Skid Steer Operator. Operators are responsible for spreading and grading fill material to desired grades.  The ideal candidate needs to be skilled in operating a dozer, be knowledgeable of safety measures and equipment maintenance, and have strong communication skills to work with construction teams and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Operate dozers equipped with GPS or finish dozers with precision, adhering to project plans and specifications for accurate grading and leveling.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and promptly reporting any equipment issues to the maintenance department.
• Precision Grading: Ensure accurate grading and leveling in line with project requirements, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members to coordinate grading activities and meet project goals effectively.
• Clear Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members and supervisors, reporting progress, challenges, and equipment issues as necessary.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and adhere to all relevant regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Problem-solving: Identify and address any operational challenges or issues that arise during grading work.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate documentation, including daily equipment inspection reports and work logs.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support project requirements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Equipment Operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation for commuting to job sites.                                                               
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.   
• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
