Title: HVAC Service Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee our residential and light commercial service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC systems, previous experience in service management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee a team of up to 20 technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
* Ensure that all service calls are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
* Monitor technician performance and productivity, implementing strategies for improvement as necessary.
* Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians to customer locations in a timely manner.
* Conduct regular meetings with the service team to review performance metrics, address any issues, and provide feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of service calls, equipment installations, and customer interactions.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and courtesy.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies, including safety protocols and licensing requirements.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to optimize workflow and achieve company goals.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with EPA Universal and/or TDLR certification.
* Proven track record of success in service management, including leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Exceptional technical proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting and repair, with a rating of 10/10.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
* Comfortable with firm pricing, negotiation, and the collection of payments.
* Proficient in computer software and applications related to scheduling, invoicing, and customer management.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Must be able to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duty as needed.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the HVAC industry.
* Must be eligible to work in the United States.
