Job Overview:

18 Spa is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Esthetician. This position requires an individual who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, caring and passionate about skincare and beauty. The ideal candidate will efficiently provide professional esthetic services to our clients. Must be motivated to build clientele and promote 18 Spa.

Key Responsibilities:

Esthetician Duties:

• Client Consultations: Conduct skin analysis and consultations to determine appropriate treatments and products for individual client needs.
• Skincare Treatments: Perform a variety of skincare services, including facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, waxing, and other esthetic procedures.
• Treatment Customization: Customize treatments to meet the specific needs and preferences of each client.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest skincare products and treatments, providing expert advice to clients utilizing the skincare products used at 18 Spa.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry trends and new techniques.
• Insurance: Must have liability insurance to perform services on clients.

Spa Duties:

• Client Interaction: Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out processes, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Appointment Management: Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
• Billing & Payments: Process payments and handle basic billing inquiries.
• Inventory Management: Assist with ordering and stocking of office and spa supplies, ensuring the front desk and treatment areas are well-equipped.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history, treatment provided and product preferences.
• Sales Support: Promote and sell skincare products and packages offered at 18 Spa.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A valid Esthetician license is mandatory. Advanced certifications preferred (microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels etc)
• Experience: Previous experience in a spa or medical office setting. Prior esthetician experience is required .

Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in scheduling software and basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
