Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating electrical construction costs for a variety of projects in healthcare, higher education, and other commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be able to communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project documents and specifications to accurately estimate costs for electrical systems
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop comprehensive project estimates
Prepare detailed take-offs, pricing, and proposals for electrical construction work
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation of project estimates and related data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university
5+ years of experience in electrical estimating in the construction industry
Proficiency with Accubid or similar estimating software
Knowledge of design-build and construction processes
Experience working on projects in hospital or healthcare environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
