Data Analyst, Intern

Summary:  The Business Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with Sales, Customer Service and Corporate Account Teams in development of actionable projects and useful tools to improve processes and profit generation. The ideal candidate will be able to handle and develop multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Knowledge and willingness to explore artificial intelligence platforms in analysis is a plus. The ideal candidate will be detail and deadline oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Simplify or recreate existing pricing calculators/methods by utilizing power applications, artificial intelligence and in conjunction with business strategy/finance.
• Streamline Corporate SharePoint and Global Vision and upload necessary documents inclusive of contracts and other pertinent information.
• Assist in development of automated quotation system for customer service department ensuring correct pricing is applied consistently.
• Develop market analysis model that identifies available market value and share of business based on corporate account(s) selected and compare to competition.
• Support in risk analyses requirements for corporate customers and special projects.
• Execute other projects and duties as may be assigned.
• A project review presentation will be given to peers and management at the end of the internship to showcase your contributions as an intern.

Requirements:

• Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar analytical field.
• Must have completed 2 years of course work and maintained a 3.0 or above GPA
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Office duties including sitting, standing walking in an office work environment.
