CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR (CRO)

My client, who operates in the power industry has an immediate need for an experienced Control Room Operator to join their team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:-

• HS Diploma
• 4+ years of experience monitoring the controls systems in a power plant/heavy industrial environment
• Power plant / heavy industrial experience would be ideal.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Turbine Operator
• Understanding and experience working with DCS, CEMS, automatic voltage regulator controls etc,
• Ability to be decisive - take appropriate corrective actions in a timely manner
• Execute plant shutdowns and start-up following all procedures
• Ensure that all safety, environmental and operational rules and regulations are in compliance/being adhered too
• MUST have ASME/QRO Certification or ability to obtain it within 1 year of joining the company
• Valid Drivers license
• Excellent communication and problem solving / decision making skills are required for this role
• Must have the ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts. (5-on, 2-off / 2-on, 5-off)
